Yo-Kai Watch is something of a phenomenon in Japan. It’s arrival in the West is awaited with baited breath. Will the game be able to repeat its break out success. Players control Nate who has discovered mysterious powers to locate and release spirits. Exploring an intricately detailed and interactive world leads to discovering various spirits with Nate’s titular watch. From there you battle with a variety of touch screen interactions. It’s reminiscent of Pokemon albeit with a few new twists.
