PlayStation Vita Pets: Puppy Parlour is a free new pet simulator for the iPhone and iPad published by SCEE.

The game is a companion App for the new PlayStation Vita title PlayStation Vita Pets, which will let you care for a puppy and go on adventures with him or her around Castlewood Island. Puppy Parlour, however, is a far smaller affair, putting you in charge of pampering polygonal pooches in a virtual doggie daycare.

Caring for your pets takes the form of a selection of intuitive minigames that will be familiar to all touchscreen gamers, taking inspiration from Nintendogs, Temple Run, and other popular games.

It may not be the most robust game, but for it is a nice package that will keep children happily entertained. Ties to the Vita game will also reward you for playing both, as you share items back and forth between the two games.
