I’ve been trying out Sifteo’s updated game-cubes. Unlike Nintendo’s under-loved console these interactive blocks are wireless, portable and touch sensitive. The real novelty though is that they know when they are placed next to each other.

These Sifteo Cube interactions are used in a variety of games that come pre-installed on the cubes, as well as additional titles you can download — with more to come from Richard Garfield of Magic: The Gathering fame. You can also buy addition cubes to make the experience more involving and open up new gameplay possibilities.
