Minecraft on Playstation 4 is going to feature spaces 36 times bigger than previous worlds on Playstation 3. Existing players can import PS3 saves to PS4 version which is great. This means you can keep working on those masterpieces.
Also, if you own the Playstation 3 Minecraft Edition you will get an upgrade to Playstation 4 Edition for a smaller fee. This applies to everyone who’s bought Minecraft digitally and transfers their PSN account to their new console.
On PS4 the Dualshock 4 also plays a part. You can navigate all the menus and craft with the touchpad and share and stream your experiences thanks to Playstation 4′s built-in social functions.
Then there are new Trophies to earned for the hunters and some Sony-specific DLC (Journey?) coming after release. Minecraft will support up to eight players online, and up to four of those will be able to log in via one Playstation 4 thanks to the compact convenience of split-screen.
