Minecraft is an awesome game but mods can make it even better. We check out three in this Mod Showcase to highlight what they’re capable of.

The Star Wars mod adds a multiplayer server and a complete visual overhaul of the game. Creepers and Zombies are replaced with Clone Troopers and Battle Droid. Jedi and Sith roam the world looking for trouble and you have a whole set of new crafting options, weapons and blocks to choose from.

Weather and Tornadoes mod adds destructive tornadoes and waterspouts to the game. They will easily destroy most buildings so be careful when using it! The mod comes with a tornado sensor and warning siren, plus a gun to initiate a tornado at your own free will – if you dare!

Finally, the PaleoCraft mod enables you to travel through a special portal to a dinosaur dimension. Here a collection of dinosaurs will all be living in their own specific habitats. It takes some exploring to find them all but once you do some can even be tamed to use as pets.

Remember to backup your save folder before you use these mods just in case anything disastrous happens.
